The methodology was developed by Oleksandr Koretskiy from long-term engineering, project and consulting practice and formalized for systematic analysis of technical, technological and business problems.
Core principles
— separate fact from inference and assumption;
— client-provided data is not independently verified unless actually checked;
— preserve source provenance;
— keep conflicting evidence visible;
— “not found” does not mean “does not exist”;
— research depth should match decision significance.
Minimum sufficient research
Research should not become endless information collection. It should continue until more information is unlikely to change the decision, or until the next evidence needed is clearly identified.
