Uncertainty and conflicting evidence

The methodology was developed by Oleksandr Koretskiy from long-term engineering, project and consulting practice and formalized for systematic analysis of technical, technological and business problems.

— separate unknown from assumption;

— show critical unknowns explicitly;

— preserve source conflicts;

— do not invent missing values;

— state conditional conclusions;

— identify the evidence that could change the decision.

If a result depends on an unverified parameter, the conclusion should state both the current position and the condition that would change it.
